When/ how did your health and fitness journey begin?

My fitness journey started in my mid 30’s when i joined a Couch to 5k group.

When did you first start coming to portside fitness?

I started at Portside on July 21, 2014. I had never lifted a weight in my life. Lifting has become my favorite.

why did you want to become a coach at portside?

I became interested in becoming a coach when someone asked Justin why he was not a coach and he said the real question is why hasn’t my wife become a coach?

what education/certifications do you have?

So far, I only have my Level 1 CrossFit Trainer Certification. I am thinking about obtaining a personal training certification, along with a CrossFit Level 2.

What is your favorite thing about coaching at Portside Fitness?

My favorite thing about coaching at PortSide is watching people progress and reaching their own fitness goals. I am big on proper form, so I love to teach movements. I also love getting to know people.   Building relationships isa huge part of getting to know someone. 

What is your favorite memory at Portside Fitness?

My favorite memory at portside is December 23, 2015 when Justin asked me to marry him before a group class.
