I decided to to the nutrition coaching to learn, not just something new, but something essential to incorporate into my life. I learned how important it is to properly give my body the right foods in order to achieve my goals. I am an avid runner and now a regular member of Portside- making sure I have enough fuel to get through my running and workouts is a priority. This process has helped me realize that I want to be a better me, not just physically but in every aspect! My advice- be positive! For anyone who wants to make a change, you must stay positive. I learned that I demand a lot from my body and it deserves the best- we are a team. I make sure to get adequate fuel and my body will allow me to continue doing the things I love. The biggest aspect that helped me achieve my goal is DISCIPLINE. For me, this word says it all, without it I wouldn’t be able to keep up.
